Thats incredible, 5pts! What makes this happen? I shot a management doe in Stueben County NY, awfully close to Pa. The deer had nubs, I thought I shot a big button buck, and not a management doe! but this deer had doe plumbing! I had heard of it before but never seen it.
Nice job, You still had your buck tag, with horns on the ground.

I've heard of it happening, usually the antlers still have fuzz as the does don't rub it off. I guess its something like 1 in every 6-8,000 does have antlers.
Congrats on the meat and antlers though

I talked to the Pa Game Commesion and they told me someone shot a big 8 pointer the 1st day still in velvet and it was a doe also. I also looked on penn states site and they have a 4 point doe that has 2 fawns every year. I guess it's not that strange after all .
